A home for independent makers of linen, ceramics, lighting and furniture, and for the people who live with their work.
Nora started with a simple wish: to buy the things we use every day from the people who make them. Our homes are full of objects bought in a hurry. We wanted fewer of them, made better, by people we could name.
Four makers to begin with
Maison Lin washes and sews linen in Lille. Studio Arca throws stoneware in Marseille. Lume Works pours candles and pleats lampshades in Porto. North & Field builds oak furniture outside Copenhagen. Each runs their own shop, sets their own prices and ships their own orders.
